Square Enix made a surprise announcement during the tail-end of the most recent Nintendo Direct, as they announced a brand new Octopath Traveller game coming.
Set as a prequel to the events of the two mainline titles, fans are stoked to try the game out when it releases.

Octopath Traveller has become a staple of Square Enix over the years, as the two RPGs have risen to critical acclaim and are a must-play for any fan of the JRPG genre.
Now, the brand new title, Octopath Traveler 0, has been announced, and it does offer that unique flair we've seen from them in the past.
In terms of a release date, they announced at the end of the trailer that it'll be playable on December 4th, 2025 on both the Switch 1 and Switch 2.
