Overwatch 2 most recently released the brand new Season 7 for players, which is going to be one of the final ones for the year.
With the recent reworks to heroes such as Sombra, and the upcoming ones to Roadhog, Blizzard is gearing up to reveal a brand new tank hero in the form of Mauga.
Now, the new tank is all but confirmed thanks to some new sprays added by Blizzard as we inch closer to the reveal.

While Blizzard has been closed mouth regarding the new hero, there’s been quite some indication that we will be getting this hero next. Not only did they just add the map, Samoa, which is where Mauga and Baptiste are from.
There’s also some hidden lore around the map, such as pictures of the two heroes in their rooms and what not. Now, they’ve secretly added the following sprays, which eagle eyed OW2 players spotted right away.
These all but signal that Mauga is going to be released next season, and we’re bound to see the new tank be showcased further at Blizzcon 2023.
