Metroid Prime 4 has been a long time coming for fans, as originally announced during E3 2017, the industry and expectations have changed quite a bit recently.
However, the wait is finally nearing its end, and we're going to run over what we know about the platforms that Prime 4 will be playable on.
Here's what we know.

Metroid Prime 4: Is It On The Nintendo Switch 1?
Samus has been put on the backburner in favor of other Nintendo main features over the years, but with the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 earlier this year, Metroid is all the way back.
In a year where Hollow Knight fans finally got to play their long-awaited sequel, Metroid fans will soon feel this revelation.
However, while Nintendo is seemingly phasing out the Switch 1 in other titles such as Kirby Air Riders, this will not be the case for Metroid Prime 5. As yes, the game will be fully playable on both versions of the Switch.
