Bungie’s Marathon was one of the surprise announcements during the PlayStation showcase back in June of 2023; as it is the revival of the 90s franchise.

Marathon Closed Alpha: Dates, How To Sign Up and More
Bungie recently showcased Marathon and all the game has to offer, and it's safe to say that fans are amped for the revival of the franchise.
Marathon will pit us against one another, in hopes of extracting with as much loot as possible, and the game seemingly combines elements of other titles such as Escape From Tarkov and Apex Legends.
Players eager to test out the game won't have to wait long, as Bungie will be holding a two week Closed Alpha, beginning on April 23rd.
In order to particiapte, you need to follow the steps below.
- Sign up for the Marathon Discord and agree to the rules.
- Go to the #alpha_access chat and type /alpha.
- Once this is done, a bot should message you in the selected channel.
- Click the link, and proceed to follow the steps outlined, which include linking/creating your Bungie account and what not.
