What Is Orange Essence In League of Legends?
Orange Essence is a crafting material which can be used to craft cosmetic Shards into cosmetic Permanents, which includes champion skins, ward skins, summoner icons, and emotes.
So in short, Orange Essence is used to unlock a lot of the cosmetic items you find in the game.
How To Get Orange Essence In League of Legends
Players can earn Orange Essence in League of Legends in multiple ways. We’ve got a list below of the various ways you can get Orange Essence:
- You can buy Orange Essence in the store (technically). It is included in the ‘5 chests and keys + Bonus Essence’ bundle. It costs 975 RP and is guaranteed to give you 50 Orange Essence.
- From Hextech Chests and Masterwork Chests. These chests will sometimes include Orange Essence.
- Some in-game events will have missions that offer Orange Essence as a reward.
- Disenchant skin shards from chests into Orange Essence.
- From a Prime Gaming Capsule. The current Capsule at the time of writing includes 200 Orange Essence.
