Marathon is going to be the latest extraction shooter for players to try out, and with titles such as Arc Raiders swooping players, the genre is on the uptick for sure.

Bungie has now confirmed that the game will be released on March 5th, 2026, and players are eager to dive into the action.

However, regarding what we know about Marathon being F2P, we can confirm that for the time being, the game will not be free, and will instead cost:
