Introducing ReacTap: Precision in Every Tap

We’re excited to bring ReacTap to all Turtle Beach Vulcan II TKL Pro users, adding a new layer of precision and control to your gaming experience. ReacTap is our latest feature, modelled after SOCD (Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions) principles, designed to enhance your gameplay by offering lightning-fast transitions between movements, allowing you to stay in control when every millisecond matters.

Whether you're strafing in intense first-person shooters, mastering precise timing in rhythm games, or need rapid movements in fighting games, ReacTap gives you the competitive edge by minimizing delays and giving priority to your last pressed key and works in combination with Rapid Trigger.

What is ReacTap?

Once paired two inputs, ReacTap allows you to both press and release actions with a single key. It prioritizes the last pressed input, ensuring that you always stay ahead of the action, never getting bogged down in slow transitions. This is crucial for games like shooters, where sharp peeking and dodging can be the difference between victory and defeat.

With ReacTap, you’ll experience:

  • Seamless directional control: Enjoy lightning-fast speed by instantly switching directions with key presses and releases, keeping you agile and ready for action.
  • Optimized key priority: No more waiting between actions—inputs are recognized the moment they're made, ensuring smooth transitions and precise movement.
  • Unlimited customization & on-board profiles: Assign as many key pairings as you want and save your custom ReacTap settings directly on the keyboard for seamless play across any setup

Compatible Devices

Currently, ReacTap is available exclusively for Vulcan II TKL Pro users. Simply ensure your keyboard's firmware is up-to-date and the feature is enabled via the Swarm™ II software

How to Enable ReacTap

  1. Open the Swarm™ II software and select your Vulcan II TKL Pro keyboard.
  2. Navigate to the “ANALOG FUNCTION” tab.
  3. Look for the new ReacTap setting.
  4. Toggle the quick assign switch to A & D to enable or disable ReacTap, or customize your assignment.

Important Notice for FPS Gamers

While ReacTap is a game-changer in many titles, please be aware that some games, like Counter-Strike, have restrictions against automation features. Be sure to check game rules and disable the feature in such titles to avoid any unintended consequences, including being kicked from matches. Play fair, keep winning!

Customization at Your Fingertips

In the Swarm™ II software, you can easily customize which keys take advantage of ReacTap. Whether you use it to control your directional keys for rapid strafing or assign it to specialized actions in other games, you’re in complete control of how you use it.

We’re dedicated to giving you the tools you need to be the best gamer possible. ReacTap is just the latest innovation we’ve developed to bring you closer to the action, with even more features and improvements planned down the road.
