As of now, the developers behind Hytale have not fully confirmed what the maximum capacity is for a world/server. However, game8.co has noted that the configuration for the servers states that the limit of players is capped at 100.
However, this could always change, especially given the early stages of Hytale that we're in, so we can expect this number to shift.
