Escape From Tarkov is the hardcore extraction shooter that fits a perfect niche within the gaming community, and fans have adored the title for quite some time now.
Now, with a brand new wipe in the works, BattleState Games are teasing the wipe more and more each day, especially with the changes to some of the maps, including Labs.
Here’s what has changed for Labs in Tarkov.
Escape From Tarkov Labs Access Open to Everyone as Wipe Looms
Tarkov typically has its wipe every six months or so, with the last one occurring back in August 2023; so, at first glance, it appears to be a bit early for a brand new Tarkov wipe, this time, it is a special circumstance. During the December 2022 wipe, they added the most recent map, Streets of Tarkov.
Now, in the leadup to the game being wiped, they’ve gone ahead and opened Labs for every PMC on the map. This is significant as before, players would need to use a Labs access keycard in order to gain entry into the map, but that is no longer needed.
With the wipe looming, this may be the final step before we get to start fresh, but we’ll keep you posted.
