Escape From Tarkov is the hardcore extraction shooter that fits a perfect niche within the gaming community, and fans have adored the title for quite some time now.
One of the main mechanics of the game is the usual wipes, and with the new wipe here, players are going to want to complete the intro quests, including the ‘Shooting Cans’ quest.

Escape From Tarkov: How To Complete The Shooting Cans Quest For Prapor
Tarkov typically has its wipe every six months or so, with the last one occurring back in August, 2023; so at first glance, it appears to be a bit early for a brand new Tarkov wipe, this time it is a special circumstance.
Now, players are checking out the Ground Zero map, and the Shooting Cans quest is going to be one of the first you complete for Prapor.
It will require the following steps.
- Locate the Utyos machine gun on Ground Zero
- Locate the AGS grenade launcher on Ground Zero
- Eliminate any target on Ground Zero (5 required)
Looking at the map below, players will want to head into the Empire building to find the machine gun, and it’ll be nestled within a window somewhere on the higher floors. Furthermore, you’ll want to head over to the Capital Insight building to find the grenade launcher, and similar to the machine gun it’s going to be up a few flights of stairs.
