Elden Ring Shadow of The Erdtree: Do You Have To Beat The Game To Play The DLC?

Elden Ring, the action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco, set records for sales and gameplay, was it was the 2022 Game of the Year.

Now, FromSoftware has delivered a spectacular trailer and the leadup to the game is building. 

Here's if you have to beat the game before diving into the DLC.

Elden Ring has been widely acclaimed and is widely considered one of the best games of 2022. Its exceptional performance is evident in the numerous Game of the Year awards it has won.

FromSoftware has now confirmed via the first trailer for Shadow of The Erdtree, that it’ll release on June 21st, 2024 and in order to access the DLC you'll need to defeat two bosses. 

• Mohg, Lord of Blood
• General Radahn 

You don't need to beat the game, but these two bosses are going to be primary battles for players to head into the land between.
