DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake was the first entry into the HD-2D saga for the franchise, and we're already anticipating the release of the next one later this year.
For those who own a Nintendo Switch 2, then you're in luck as there's a brand new performance update coming your way.

The beloved Dragon Quest franchise is one that many of us have grown up with over the years, and similarly to Final Fantasy, Square Enix is putting a focus on the classics.
The game also strikes home the new eye-catching HD-2D style that we've seen Square Enix use in the past, and seen in upcoming games such as Octopath Traveller 0 and The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales.
With all of this said, the game has just recievd a brand new update for the Nintendo Switch 2, which includes the following changes:
- Graphical improvements which make the game appear sharper and smoother
- ・Additional options which allow players to prioritize frame rate or graphics
No changes have been made to the story or which items can be obtained in the game.
