The Dead By Daylight Shrine of Secrets is an invaluable store within the game that allows players to essentially buy teachable perks for their favourite survivors or killers. That said, the perks on offer in the Shrine of Secrets will rotate each week, so you’ll want to be sure you nab what’s on offer whilst you still can. Read on, we’ll explain what perks are available this week as well how long you have left to claim them before the next reset.
What is the Shrine Of Secrets this week?
The Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets this week is: Barbecue & Chilli, Deathbound, Diversion and Tenacity.
Each perk will cost players 2,000 Iridescent Shards to unlock at Tier 1, 4000 Iridescent Shards at Tier 2 and 6000 Iridescent Shards at Tier 3. If players purchase a perk that is already unlocked at Tier 3, they’ll be rewarded with 100,000 bloodpoints instead.
The existing Shrine of Secrets will reset on October 5 at 00:00 BST, when a new set of perks will become available.
For now, read on for a detailed description of the perks currently available to players.
Diversion
Diversion is a Teachable Perk unique to Adam Francis. Here’s how it works:
Activate-able Perk. Standing within the Killer’s Terror Radius while not in a Chase for 40/35/30 seconds activates Diversion.
Once Diversion is activated, press the Active Ability button while crouched and motionless to throw a pebble, creating a distraction for the Killer at a distance of 20 metres.
The distraction consists of the following:
- A Loud Noise Notification
- Scratch Marks
Diversion’s timer resets once the ability has been activated.
Tenacity
Tenacity is a Teachable Perk unique to Detective David Tapp. Here’s how it works:
There is nothing stopping you. Your ferocious tenacity in dire situations allows you to benefit from the following effects:
- Increases your Crawling speed by 30/40/50 %.
- Grants the ability to crawl and recover at the same time.
- Reduces the volume of Grunts of Pain while in the Dying State by -75 %.
Barbecue & Chilli
Barbecue & Chilli is a Teachable Perk unique to The Cannibal. Here’s how it works:
A deep bond with The Entity unlocks potential in one’s Aura-reading ability.
After hooking a Survivor, all Survivors who are at least 60/50/40 metres away from that Hook have their Aura revealed to you for 4 seconds.
Deathbound
Deathbound is a Teachable Perk unique to The Executioner (Pyramid Head). Here’s how it works:
Those whose lives are intertwined in darkness are destined to suffer together. When a Survivor heals another Survivor for the equivalent of 1 Health State at least 32 metres away from you, that Survivor will scream, revealing their location and activating Deathbound:
- For the next 60 seconds, that Survivor suffers from the Oblivious Status Effect when farther than 16/12/8 metres away from the healed Survivor.
