However, over the last year or so, CD Projekt Red have been consitently updating the game and we've seen reviews on Steam trend upwards as of late.

Now, they're gearing up to release a brand new DLC in the form of Phantom Liberty.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty: Release Date, Trailer, Idris Elba and More

CD Projekt Red premiered the new gameplay trailer for the DLC live during The Game Awards 2022, and to some surprise, actor Idris Elba is actually going to be one of the main characters within the new expansion.

In terms of release date, players will be able to dive into content on September 26th, 2023.
