Black Myth Wukong Compatibility Mode Explained: What It Is and More

Black Myth Wukong has been off to a blistering start since it was released, and it's easy to see why.

The story of Sun Wukong looks to be one of the game of the year contenders, and upon launch there is an option to run the game in compatibility mode on PC.

Black Myth Wukong has been leaning into the genre with it's dramatic trailers that we've seen over the last year. 

Now, with the game fully released, players on PC will notice that the compatibility mode option will prompt player when they initially boot up the game.

In short, this option will deactivate certain features and in-game effects that are causing PCs to have performance issues when trying to play Wukong. While the game is technically demanding, it's better to try this mode out if you're having some issues and ensuring your settings are aligned with your graphics card.
